- I am a wife, mother, and nurse. I have two children whose names are Joseph and Julianna. I work on the neurological floor. There is a very diverse population of patients which makes for never a dull moment when at work. My son has bilateral cochlear implants and my daughter asthma. The combination of the two can make life interesting lol. They are the joy of my life though and at the fast approaching ages of 4 and 5 they offer many daily gems and smiles. I have learned and grown much and the past 28 years of life. My husband and I continue to learn and grow together in our marriage of two very different religions. God has helped us to become the family that we are so far! I hope that God's grace and help continues to be with us. The name of the blog is The Road Not Taken stemming from my favorite poem by Robert Frost! It ends with the statement "I took the road less traveled by and that has made all the difference!" Life is a road of twists and turns, sometimes wonderful and sometimes not. It is sometimes made rocky by our own decisions and stupidity. I am very thankful that at the end of the daily road there is always a source of comfort, God!
